We pride ourselves on delivering quality coffee that is ethically sourced, that is renowned by coffee enthusiasts all over Adelaide.  We aim to pour the perfect cup of coffee every time – a balance of earthy, chocolate and creamy notes!

 

We live and breathe coffee, travelling far and wide to source the best beans to create the perfect blend.  Our beans are roasted in small batches, ensuring the highest levels of freshness and quality.

COLD BREW COFFEE

​​A smooth and refreshing coffee, served chilled. Depending on the origin of the coffee, the farming process and its roasting profile, a cold brew will generally exhibit the natural characteristics of the coffee bean including floral, herbal and fruity.


Traditional coffee is brewed at hot temperatures, which often forces the oils in the coffee beans to oxidize and breaks down the acids, resulting in a bitter tang and the loss of nuanced flavour notes.


A cold brew takes its sweet time and is steeped in cool water at room temperature for 24 hours. Grounds are then strained, with the remaining liquid chilled, ready to be poured.

 

NITRO COFFEE

Served as a cold pour on tap, it all begins with our specialty coffee blend, slowly brewed at room temperature  for 12-24 hours to produce our signature cold brew.
 
We then infuse the cold brew with nitrogen and chill it in a keg, allowing it to rest slowly and release distinct profiles and flavours.


Sweet and rich in taste, with a slightly creamy froth, exemplified by the world–famous Guinness stout.  A smooth, buttery, luscious mouthfeel, with a velvety charm! 

BATCH BREW

Also referred to as ‘pour over’ or ‘drip’ coffee, our Batch Brew is less acidic, mild in favour & allows you to enjoy the more intricate flavours and aromas of the coffee.  


Using a single origin coffee bean, this process involved is similar to that of a ‘filtered’ coffee, where water is added to the coffee and given time to slowly absorb the delicate oils & fragrances of the coffee bean.

KOMBUCHA

It all starts with the selection of one of our delicious specialty loose leaf tea blends.  We then infuse the tea with water , together with a variety of herbs, spices fruits and vegetables and allow it to ferment for up to 14 days .  


The natural fermentation and raw live cultures in Kombucha, is said to offer a number of health benefits as it is rich in amino acids, probiotics, antioxidants, minerals, vitamin & good bacteria.
 

Think ‘brew house’ or typically the brewing process to craft beer. The Cotto Brew Bar offers specialty blends of coffee and teas on tap, carefully brewed in-house and served chilled.  Our barista’s are across every part of this process - they know exactly the right time it’s ready to be served!

Our team steep the coffee beans in cool for 24 hours, then the grounds are strained, with the remaining liquid chilled, ready to be poured. Using a range of coffee beans, roasting techniques, origins and blends, the coffee is infused with either nitrogen or carbon dioxide to deliver a range of specialty coffees. 

 

A coffee that has been brewed in this way offers a smooth and refreshing drink and depending on the origin of the coffee, the farming process and its roasting profile, a coffee from our Brew Bar will generally increase the sweetness and exhibit the natural characteristics of the coffee bean including floral, herbal and fruity notes.

 

Our team works closely with a local South Australian Roaster that exclusively produces a unique blend of coffee for our BREW BAR – giving us a variety of origins and flavour profiles to choose from.
